Come back dear birds, the evening's shadow barely grown the childrens prayers not yet begun, the moon awaits the nod of sky to drape the stage of black design, the stars have yet to shimmer round the midnight matron beaming proud, the nights ensemble courts the eye the dwindling winds sweet lullabye, come back my friends it's barely dark, these eyes not groomed yet for such stark, have viewed horizons rushed your flight seeking respite from destined plight, can not the angels shield the sorrow of prophesies carried to fear the morrow, return to me in candle's dance, the tones of faith the song revamped. |

Ah, the birds - and the hopes of spring and summer upon their wings - and all the warmth inside and out that means - brought thoughts of longing and coming sweetness to my mind- Susan If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |

Applause! I thought I was the only one who talks to birds.... A facinating poem to read on a frozen, Sunday morning, thank you for the poetical breakfest. _____________ice/ford ><> |

Wonderful, dear Michelle, and even rhymed to perfection ... I am hearing a Spring tone in the birds' song these days. It seems too early, but the anticipation is in the air. Great write really and highly enjoyed! Love, Margherita |
