I know quite soon
my pen may leak of ink
your name, with one
too many sugared roses,

and i may surmise with eyes
upon deciphered stars,
such language
of romantic scriptings,
where i may return to climb,
once more to realign you,

and perhaps, i'll listen
to the nights calypso
that plays this heart
of your enchantment,

as the parasol of twilight
rings my eyes
in your blue heaven,

until the borrowed sky
above falls shattered,
and once again
on wounded knees,
i scrape the ground
and pick the remants
of this once lived magic,

but tonight
as evening follows,
the 5 star studded hours,
where i was blessed
to drink your sin
and now write you pretty
as confetti covered roses,

o, and of that time
we had, my dear,
it was simply,
o so lovely.

and i may surmise with eyes,
upon deciphered stars
such language of romantic scriptings
where i may have to climb
to find you,

isn't that always the case? and that climb seems to get harder with age

oh this aches Michelle.  It tugs...

This is lovely. Maybe it will be a slipper and not fall so harshly.

This is awful pretty Michele.
Your choice of words is so wonderfully vivid,
as you continue to blossom, a beautiful blonde.

Well said Michele.
