Melancholy Ache



Drops of melancholy
silently fall from
emerald eyes
crystallized
  in tears from blue
sullen and forlorn
as mask holds
  the unveiling of truth,.

Melancholy is
  a heart ache
   of love misplaced
harbored in yesterday;
vanished without
   nary a trace
held in a    longing for
what once    had been
to someday return
to her heart     again.

thanks everyone so much. You are all to sweet. Yes Kari, I did this picture a few years ago and always felt it had something to say. I guess my muse finally figured out what that was....lol.
