I almost made the worst mistake of my life,
I almost thought it best to leave my future wife.
Then she smacked some sense into me,
And now I can clearly see.
She's my peaceful happiness.
She does wonders to my heart,
I could tell that from the start.
Without her my world would crumble down,
I would wear a permanent frown.
She's my peaceful happiness.
She's the reason I wake up each day,
Waiting to talk to her and beside her I lay.
The joy that She brings to me,
I want the whole world to see.
She's my peaceful happiness.
Love her with all my heart,
Tears fill my eyes during this trying part.
Words aren't enough to express,
How she makes me feel with her love and tenderness.
She's my peaceful happiness...
The love of my life...

Sometime that’s all it takes.
At one time in my life, I needed that too,
But it didn’t happen… I lost.

Excellent write.
Enjoyed being blasted back into the past
Even if for only a second or two.
