Orange County Snow Snow flakes Shine in the grass, Sun-sparkles fill the breeze. White flower petals tumble from My trees. Sorry folks (oh how can I tell such a fatuous lie...)....but those ornamental pear trees are in full blossom, and the Orange County Snow they make is just starting to fall in little sprinkles..... |

Ah...we won't have pear tree snow for some months...but it's ok...it truly is... for it takes all seasons in various areas to sculpt passion... you just have a few months up on us. |

As I slipped in the snow going to the car, I can appreciate Orange County's pear blossoms! Box some up and send me a few! This sure put a grin on my face this morning! miscellanea |

Yup, that's true...but it was written in the Cinquain form, so 2-4-6-8-2 it had to be.... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

This is a beautiful piece. Love the picture as well. I'd take your kind of snow any day over the white stuff I am seeing. :-) |

Here are the "clouds" it comes from..... Meanwhile, in the back yard..... I do like blood oranges....odd color inside (scarlet) but they're tasty! ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> ______________Ratleader______________ |

STOP already!!!!! I'm looking at 15 inches of the white stuff outside. The storm is now heading up Nan's way. They are expected to get 30 inches. I don't like anything about winter anymore. Can you ship me some of those oranges? The produce around here is pretty lame lately too. |

Beautiful tree and the oranges look mighty tasty. Still will trade you my snow for yours. |

Oh... you are evil!!! LOL And... so absolutely delightful you're forgiven in spite of the lack of remorse! *G* I'm jealous... especially of the oranges. *G* We bounce from summer to winter and back again so quickly that struggling through piles of snow is unimaginable... and we even have a few flowering pears... though the white is just beginning to peek out... But... those oranges... *sigh* I hold you personally responsible for this drool around my desk! LOL |

Our seasons come a little later than yours. I remember doing dishes one day and looking out into the backyard and wonder how it could be snowing when it had been so warm--it was the pear tree next door. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

Can I say "it's a joy" without sounding sloppy? It is...because those trees still have Autumn leaves on them...we literally skip winter -- I'll take it! ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
