A Daffodil's Return

Floating silently calmly
Passing broken dreams,
A broken daffodil, still in its splendour
Searches for a place to rest
Does it have the strength to find its home
Somewhere on a shore of the Indian Ocean
All it wants is to resume the process
Of the meadows and the hills
Where children run and feel its petals
And people smile at its beauty

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

Such a simple beauty...
I wish that there was more of that.
Thank you for this.

Always, Alyssa

...I am a girl of tears.
