WOVEN IN (for a friend) I loved you when you asked me to— when you asked me to share your love. I wove myself into you and became part of you …but you did not become part of me Do you feel what I feel when you speak unkindly to me? Do you hear what I hear when you breathe fire from enraged lips? Do you hurt with me when you borrow your happiness from my tears? Do you love me? Did you know Love When you asked me to love with you? I cannot show you what you don’t want to see I cannot tell you what you don’t want to hear but know this You are the one I vowed to love And I have done my part until I am left devoid of love… I have nothing left to give-- Nothing left for you or for me… It’s time to find me again… -dgvarner 090804 "Everybody just wants to get high...sit and watch a perfect world go by..." This is painfully poignant and well done - Hugs - Susan If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |

When you're in love alone, it's not love for long. I like this one, I truly do. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
