side to side we faced the trees we were skys to them from under their barking limbs that waved at strangers to quick come see the mud of love when it reaches under the brim of a lifeway stream and feels the minnows swim through finger minutes that close to grasp in slow motion the slippery of time, and not to fast lest it damns the dam and stops a moment before it births a daydream tomorrow ______________ Dark |

A landsliding poem... over the byhighways where the quick come look could never see tomorrow if staid, too long... I've always seen the middle of it, and the after-effects... never have I been there in the slow start of quick pickup tumble down... however, I have felt the earth move. |
