Night Flight

The night awakes my moonlight wings
To fly above the daylight things
Where time turns into tea of brew
To wet the taste of something new

Where butterflies and moths abate
To charm and grace each moment late
Collecting nectar on the fly
To store into some storage lie

To take the spirit of the core
And weave a shroud of evermore
To turn the path a rainbow glow
The sun to shine and melt the snow

On moonlight wings I fly in style
To hover o’er the river wile
And there I prowl the new terrain
And separate the blue from sane

It is a Don Quixote flight
Into the wonderland of night

Could be myth, but something more...
