Then to be the lamb Searching with angora eyes: The vertical dawn of a silent rendering We, similar beings, tenderly paw the snow Sipping thoughts of milk Nipping dreams of raven moonlight Tripping merrily in light foot fleet of meadow fodder Itinerant the cottonwood of heart and memory And I knew, in a second breath the soft When spring left quietly beneath a winter drape That you would come, bidding castanet awakening And your hands would flank eternity in one long and lingered stroke As I, the lamb, would trust the shear of a safe and painless take Copyright Kkh 01/16/05 |

As I, the lamb, would trust the shear of a safe and painless take ~*~ Is this what it means, to be a lamb? I would leave a sound behind me... as beautiful as you make it seem... |

One might think of Samson and a certain lady. Though somewhat in reverse... This is an awesome write. It feels fantastic. Love the words, the vision in my mind...all of it. |

very creative write! I always love the meshing or comparison of two subjects expressed as one...your writings are beautifully cryptic and creative. |
