This poem is about just a few of the children I work with at my job.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Working with ESE students
Is what I love to do
Helping those who don't understand
With their work and other stuff

Rachel has cerebral palsy
Tim I think might be autistic
But one thing I know
Is they are smarter than people think

Ed and Cliff are troublesome
You try to get them to do their work
And all they do is play
And not listen worth crap

Lanisha does all her work
Most of the time
Before they are even due
Then starts on something new

Tiffany is a jokester
But she always gets her work done
And at the same time
Give someone a good laugh

Working with ESE students
Is alot of fun
And that is why
I love my job

Cold hands means a warm heart

Julie, you truly are a blessing to those children. You have the caring, understanding and the patience that they need to blossom and grow! God bless you and those wonderfully special children!

Your position is not an easy one,
and not many could even hope to make strides
with children such as these...it takes a
very special person to create a difference
in their life, and it sounds like you're doing

I have worked with some of these type children in the past, it can be a trial but is very worth the rewards received. Well done Julie
