YOUR NEVER-ENDING SEA ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ The closeness that I feel, ~ even when you’re far from me, Feeds my soul with the fount of life, From your never-ending sea. We sense the other's presence, ~ The air is charged yet calm. And when we touch ~ skin to skin, It soothes like healing balm. You give to me so selflessly, Through kindness and adore. And your loving sates my passion, But I always yearn for more! Your thoughtfulness and caring, Go beyond what I have known. I blossom and I flourish, In the boundless love you’ve shown. Your presence is a gentle kiss, That always brings me joy. You treat me as a precious gift, And not just simple toy. Your humor and your view of life, Put the smile in my eyes. Each morning, eve, and night with you, Is a day in paradise. My respect and admiration, For you ~ they have no bounds. You stand above all other men, And your intelligence astounds! You worked for your successes, ~ You engender respect from peers. And your strong constitution, Casts away all doubts and fears. When I'm cradled in your arms, All else slips from our view. All we know is a circle of warmth, In a world of me and you. The closeness that I feel, ~ even when you’re far from me, Feeds my soul with the fount of life, From your never-ending sea. |

misc'e ~ Hello, Missy! I am pleased that you dropped by and that you enjoyed my poem. I wrote it for my boyfriend for Valentines Day. He is one in a million! Jo ~ Good morning, lovely lily lady! Yes, this is the valentine poem I wrote for my BF! He writes the loveliest of poems for me. Even though he claims he is not a poet, he truly is.
