why must they
take total control
break your heart
steal your soul
never let you spread your wings
and let your spirit fly
laugh at your pain
laugh when you cry
never earn their own
even with all you do
or with love that's shown
somethings lacking
respect
take you down then
reject
wants to stay high
no matter how much it hurts
no matter how much you cry
can't control
their life,or what they do
so they have a need to control
all around,including you
when what they do
controls them each day
the more they control
nd let no one get i their way

Dear Marsha, this is a powerful flow of words that reveal your being conscious of something that can't be allowed to last, as it hurts you too much.

You are ready to bloom on a different level, my dear friend. You are beautiful and you have tried enough to mend.

You are meant to BE love.

Great poem and I dare say ... a healing write!

Love and hugs.
Margherita

Control...mmm...people like this too often irritate me. None controls my destiny. LOL! Oh...don't I wish. I understand where this is coming from Mgroves. Very well written piece you have here. Glad I popped in to read it this morning.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

dave  thankyou  i am really tired of control freaks, sadly alot more today or kids controling their parents to do as they please and dont care who or what they trash  like they think someone owes them.  really sad when drugs or alcohal or more important than human life . any kind of controlling person sucks.

A  thankyou

Immaturity gives birth to many things, most
not good or healthy...and too many kids,
too many adults are behaving just that way.
It is sad and not fun.  Sorta this way,
when they are immature...they are insecure
and that sucks...for sure!

MGROVES, how very true this is.  It's taken me a long time to learn, but we can make choices not to allow them to control us.   ....jo
