Too many songs on the radio today
were you...
softly whispered thoughts
dancing with the melody
of our yesterday
memories brought to life
there in unexpected
radio recollection....
And my heart sang along
I miss you.....

really liked this. the radio can be a blessing and a curse can't it? with music being vital to my survival, i'm often floored by songs on the radio taking me back to memories good and bad..this is why i listen to my cds more often..im in control..or some modest form of it.

Wonderful Susan..and how true!
Music has a way of triggering memories.
Some good, some bad.
Thank you for this today...very much enjoyed.

I love it. So simple is this and true to everyday life that you were listening to the radio and it reminded you of a time and of a special someone. I admit that I do this. I categorize my memories with songs and lately it seems I've been reflecting more on the 70's. (Smiles) Enjoyed reading. -Bob

You know Sea I still cry every single time I hear a certain song on the radio, but now I chalk that up to a good cry, instead of a loss and pain.  OH, did I love this! Yes I sure did!

Oh SEA, I love this!
Seems there will always be something there to remind us,
and that something,  sometimes, is oh too much for me.
