Allow Me

You, with aware eyes
and wary sense,
felt for yourself
those red lines from his
invisible verbal strikes and blows

albeit he is your friend

and you can do nothing
for what law is there
in the intellectual mind
of antiquated ways
where man is still mister
of the home

but, still,
you tender up the moment
glinting some imperceptible ESP,
understand me
offering invisible hands
to tend these wounds

so please, now,

understand me

in this gratitude of love

for allowing me to be....

My oh my, this is an absolute beautiful sharing of love you have for someone who is obviously more than blessed to know you.  I read such poignancy in this, but also
such beauty.

Sad, what thousands of years of repetitive
behavior has brought us...something that
borders on slavery and mental cruelty...
When...all along, all that was wanted was
a chance to dance the night air...as partners,
not opponents...
