There’s an overload of sensing when one is feeling pain,
Like the pounding in a thunder cloud before release of rain.
Your eyes are out of focus and you cannot hear what’s said,
You want to shut the world out and lie in dark in bed.

Knives and picks and needles ~ stab deep in to the brain,
The agony they cause, can drive you near insane.
The mind cannot function when enduring such distress.
~ I have eaten too much chocolate, and I now I must confess.

Oh nooo! Dear Linda, can one feel that bad because of chocolate ... too high a price to pay for moments of paradise!?

I wonder will we have chocolate up there ?? hmmmmm

And to your sweet confession I add mine ... I have had SOME chocolate secretly today when I actually proclamed in the morning that I was NOT touching any today ....

Thank you for the smiles!

Love and hugs.

OOOHHHHH, this sounds like the headache
I've got right now, Linda Lou!!
I can't decide if it's sinus infection It's
raining bad here), or if it's migraine...
or if it's because I haven't eaten anything yet today.
Whatever it is caused by sure does hurt!!
And, you described it perfectly.
I do confess though, that I've been eating chocolate
a lot lately...not today yet, though.
If you're feeling this now, I hope it's better real soon.
Hugs,
Ethel

My grain is runneth over
My belly is so full
Just keep the curtains closed
My brain
Thinks
I'm a fool

It sounds like a good migrain from eating chocolat.

JL ~ I still have the migraine! A big price to pay for over-indulging.

I don't know what came over me. I have rather good eating habits ~ but there was this box of chocolates saying, "Eat me! Eat me!" ~ and with me being such an obedient "angel", I obliged. I was upset over something and the feel-good hormones (serotonins) in chocolate helped ~ for the moment. Now I am paying the price ~ and I also have to work the calories off!

JL ~ Oh, no! I cannot even look at chocolate right now! lol It's a sweet sight, I mean "site". I will investigate it further once I am feeling better!

Have a good day!

Margherita ~

But of course, there will be chocoate up there! ~ and it will be calorie free and delicious! A little birdie told me that this is so! Your wish is God's command! lol

On Earth, people who eat lots of chocolate together ~ grow fat together! lol

Sunshine ~

Dark chocolate is acutally good for you! It has less sugar, more antioxidants, and lots of serotonin ~ plus a few more things that I can't remember at the moment because of my flippin' migraine.

I think you'll be alright with just one dark choc. bar!

Ethel ~

I certainly do commiserate! I am so much better at helping others to heal than myself. I'll send you some distant healing to help ease your migraine.

Sending you a bubble of green Light to surround you in healing rays,

Dave ~

Thanks for the humorous poetic reply! Yeppers, I think you are correct in that assumption ~ a chocolate-induced migraine!

I sure got a kick out of this one!!! Here I was thinking all serious. A most painful argument of some sort or something. Well, until the last line anyway,... but, hey, I do guess over eating chocolates can be a very serious thing too. Loved it. -Bob

(giggles in delight) Hehehe, you really had me going there, as I was afraid you were sad or something, only to giggle at the end in delight, yay! (giggles) Chocolate is one of my biggest weaknesses too, I love almost every kind of chocolate and it can get me real giggly when I play games with my families and be innocently competitive, hehehe! (smiles) I love this, sweet friend, yay, now have some peanut butter instead, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Too cute, Linda!  I hope you feel better soon.  I confess a little chocolate caper today myself, nibbling around a chocolate chip cookie...and just eating the chips out of it, throwing away the rest.
