So much loss incomprehensible Feelings of sadness beyond belief As we sit and watch in silence The world is plunged into grief The wave came without warning As the balmy breezes blew Mother Nature's voice was heard But there was nothing they could do Devastation within minutes Bodies swept out to sea Children separated from their parents Some clung desperately to a tree In the aftermath of horror Screams were heard far and wide The massive damage was revealed With the receding of the tide The world must now unite As we all join hands and pray And remember those lives lost On that unforgettable day * * * "We are all angels with only one wing.... we can fly only by embracing each other" I am in motion |
