Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray for this man his soul
to keep

In the morning when he wakes
I pray for him to undo his mistakes

To be a better man and grow up some
stop breaking hearts and getting them
undone

I pray for you to have a beating heart
to use it wise and never make anyone's
fall apart.

For in the end you may see not only
are you hurting her deep blue eyes
tears that are not worthly of her
broken heart.

You sir are going to be the one
that is going to fall apart. may
someone be there to pick you up
when you fall may you learn something
and not do this at all..

I know i stole the now you lay be down to sleep flow but i broke away from it. with that do you guy's think its any good?

If you have to use some one elses writtings to get the creative juices flowing then so be it. As my writing at its best is still a cheap imitation of life transposed. If anything(using the rhyme) it adds to the fact that this was a subject were words were hard to find but yet you penned them well. bravo

I hope and pray with your earnest plea, that this person desires change, realizes that hurting others, hurts and stagnates his growth...very compassionate and kind of you to care....I hope your wish comes true.
