Anything can destruct the shining armor that’s within a soul But a certain stain of glory makes our hearts pure and whole Can you decipher a lie that has the burden of truth? Don’t compensate compassion with holy traditions Even the martyr lived to exonerate the deeds of the dead Forget the past and stretch your arms to what is ahead Guide your minds to outsmart the intellectuals of the world Humans forgive the unwanted deeds that can be forgotten Inducing recollections of turmoil the wind has carried away Just strive to protect the honor our unearthly remains have embraced Karma hasn’t been lost, but its mythology is not logical to the masses Lame attempts at explaining the world can be considered a waste of time Minds are incapable of accepting a deity that has pity for the population Nonetheless, gods can be thought of as a role of extreme insecurity Opiates are now filling the bodies and destroying life creating carnage Passing of life is happening on street corners right in front of our eyes Quantitative deaths aren’t just numerous, they are overwhelming Remaining in a humble abode can’t really help, or can it? Sitting inside wondering what can be done benefits no one Time to walk outside, realize the pain, and understand what can be done Undo the sociological chains that have bonded you to civility Vicious depression can be won over by embracing kindness We the people now declare humility, responsibility, and love Yet it is quite hard to accept the task of caring for one another ‘Xpress your need for affection by handing it out to others Zephyrs have obviously blown away caring and understanding hearts Andrew A. |
