The Complaint

I'm not allowed
to write of self-inflicting
pain or death yet I can
in remembrance of.

What gives you the right
to say what I can or cannot
write?
You're not the one who raised me.

Look around,you'll see life ends
in many different ways.
One can write of battles; dealing
with abuse,war,sex,love, peace and
its allowed.

Have you never learned
American History for our
forefathers made it law
that we can say what we want.

Its the law of...
Freedom of Free Speech
so do not tell me what I can
or cannot say.

Within this heart you'll find love

Froggy...

You can write what you want.  This country does give you that freedom.  But just as I wouldn't allow you to smoke in my house (if you smoked) so shall the owner of a web site get to decide what is posted on their site.

  It's that simple.

Understood - guess it is all a matter of where and when to express such dark - I've written of such myself - but Susan C said it well - we are guests here, even though we are family-

Your expression of this was very well written -

Thank-you all for the comments.
I'm sorry if I have offened anyone with this poem.
I hope that none of you are offened by this poem. There are people in around this big planet who read all forms of poetry as well as other literature material. Its not just forms of literature to get censered some businesses won't allow the employee to speak their feelings.
I was raised to speak my mind, stand up for what I felt was right.

Thank-you all again for the comments.
