I watch the flames, heated to perfection, at least for the moment's need. I do my winter walk, with a dance in my step believing in the artistry of you, waltzing my words in the shadows of the night. Thoughts rise with me in the mornings, hesitating the real, wishing to be the child of the flames, to rumor me bad. I mull over words that escape from the breath of me, the inspiration from within minded walls, your touch an added attraction allowing the familiar to cross the plane and spell out these feelings~~ M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." Thanks everyone.. I have been dealing with a non functioning furnace and for 3 weeks now have been waiting a plumber who knew what to do with one that was put in either 1947 or 1949 ~laughing~ at all the responses I got from heating experts...once they were able to see it. 3 weeks ago I awoke to very hot temps in the house when the boiler wouldn't cut off...and also was checked and had some gas leakage, necessity being to shut of the gas and have no heat...since then I have been sawing, stacking and stoking wood for my woodstove( at least I had one)..and it sure is tiresome, besides cold depending on where I am standing...I am lucky that in the mid eastern states our temperatures except for nighttime have been above normal.. So until (hopefully) tomorrow I get to watch the flames and keep them burning Maureen |
