and playing her in your phone
messages to me, and for a
brief moment I couldn't hear
the cock-a-doodle doo as your
neighbors rooster crowed in
the background, and then you'd
laugh and tell me that you were
mad at me, but that was allright
because first I was mad at you,
but through it all you still told
me that you loved me and as you
pressed me I wanted to say I love
you too, and I did (at last) just
because I truly do love you.
