The train pulled out of Memphis, it was late that rainy night, as I watched him leave, I could see his face in the pale moonlight, My heart was beating strong, for it hurt so bad to wactch him go, But there is something I didn't tell him, that I thought he should know, Babe, I didn't want to leave you, I didn't want to go away, I guess somethings are better, even if you didn't want to stay, Didn't want to see you, hurt the way you were, but the love between us, will never go away, How long will it be, till he comes home?, How many days do I have to sit, to tell myself, I miss him? I hope he will be alright, it's lonely for a woman like me, to try and make it through one night, To see his face, and to see his smile, would make me happy, across these lonely miles, I didn't want to leave you, I didn't want to say goodbye, I didn't want to hurt you, or even make you cry, Until the time comes for me, to see him again, I'll sit, holding his picture, in my hand, I love him, I wish he could stay, but I am safe knowing, our love will never fade away, I didn't want to leave you this way... Come, love all of me, mind, body, spirit..feel my passion, taste of me, be filled completely! |

Very heart rending ARH. One can hear the passion you have captured for your beloved. Bravo! Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |
