Mellifluous liquid words
Droplets of golden language
Honey for the mind

Bask in the glow of Sunshine
Warm your day with poetry

thanks, Sunshine

Sweet love, poetry
Gives and takes, and gives again
Magic in motion

Midnitesun, my companion
With poetic repartee

Silent Winter woods
Heavy was the night’s snowfall
Midnite’s Sun rested

Dawn the Sun awoke early
Snowman’s chin returns to Fall

LOL, thanks, Karilea, for all this fun and inspiration

Poets together
Ring and weave their words so warm
Keeping winter's chill

Safely banked by passion's warmth
Passerbys see chimney's flow

~*~

No, it's I who thank you, Kacy, for
the welcome, wonderful participation...

and to all of the other poets whose muses
are on winter haitus...

if we feed lightly off one another,
we might satisfy the readers...

Good way to put it, Karilea. We have so many fine writers scurrying about, it's no wonder I don't get all my 'real chores' done unless I turn the PC off. LOL, which is what I must now do for at LEAST three or four hours, while it's still light outside.
Later, and thanks!

Turn the PC off
in the midst of winter storm
what then would I do?

Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

LOL..I'm with Martie..now way can I turn this thing off!

I think I may be addicted.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
an invincible summer.

OK, so I didn't make it for long either, LOL, but I figured I'd be in such good company, why not jump back into the snowbanks?
