silver paints the winter sky a jeweled chill sparkling diamonds tinting lakes in its likeness a mirror of cool, iciness and I, watch from a warmth of brown cozy as a grizzly or a joey at naptime- a touch of mocha coating me the contrast is breathtaking the brisk chill of silver the fuzzy warmth of brown home amid the season’s chill sheltered that I may enjoy its beauty ©January 7, 2005 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. You painted a scene pretty enough to make me wish I were looking at it. |
