In that Moment

It was all could be done in that moment
trying to look past the fantasy
into the beyond, eager for best,

trusting luck
hoping that some good fortune
would guide my eye

I knew, somewhere, their home was up there
but the brilliance of this moment
blinded me,
so faith took over, and then

I snapped…

Now counting starred points,
Noting sure angel’s aura
All's right in sun’s time

Warming nests, squirrels napping
They’ll work to eat, soon enough

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen? Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...
