You're one cool Gramma Sharon!
Love the pics..and the perfect words.
*Smiling at you and the girls*
Three big hugs sent your way...pass them out please.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

No snow!  Ask Ron, I bet he will be glad to send you some
Like our snow angel?  Tori made it for Willow to see up in heaven.

You are so right, I was one very cool and teeth-chattering Gramma LOL.

For those of you not familiar with snow-tubing - it is a gas!  Here is where we go, and what it is.  My youngest granddaughter is only 3, and not 4 feet tall yet, but already her name is famous there.  She takes after her Dad and I for guts I tell you.

Chris ~ Like you, I would rather soak my tired body than miss out on one second I can be with my family. Life is so short, and we only get once chance to be with those we love in this lifetime, and only one time to do it right. Right?

Wonderful pictures~

still no snow here...yet

tubing is so much fun...we have a golf course in York that has  a hill for that  with manmade snow during the winter but it has been in the 50's  to 70's so far these past two weeks...

What a joyful trio!
I had a hot chocolate WITHOUT the snow.
Would have preferred the SNOW though ...

Snow tubing sounds great!

Bob, did I tell you today again just how much you were missed and that I am glad you are back?  If not, you were and I am! God bless you sir.

Now, I dare anyone with snow to go make an angel     Go on - go play!

Karilea, I saw Beki's poem last night actually and framed our snow angel to do a poem to respond to her, but sheesh life is getting in my way these days and I have NO time to write squat!

Many years ago, (many!) in the long winters of Minnesota, I slid down a nearly mile long slope with other youngsters.  When lucky, a parent would appear with a car to haul us back to the top of the hill.  Hot chocolate awaited at home.
Thanks for the memories.

You know ... Only this morning I was thinking what a wonderful "family" of friends we have all become in the caring and sharing of not only poetry but our lives.  With this house of Ron's no one is ever alone, friendless, or unhappy for too long are they?

Thank you all so kindly for sharing a moment with me in time, I wish you could each come play

Love the haiku/senryu, Sharon ... "hot chocolate moments" are priceless. As kids, we had skidooing, toboganning and tubing as well. Those memories are ingrained in me forever as many of those "hot chocolate moments".

I was telling somebody earlier today how we used to skidoo across the frozen lakes up in Muskoka. Ahhhhh, precious moments ... yes indeed!

Best wishes,
/Kit
