Today was more than I could handle

Today I am tired of being married
Today I am tired of being responsible for everything
Today I am tired of yelling at kids who don't listen
Today I am tired of talking to people who don't care to hear what I say
Today I am tired of crying alone
Today I am tired of feeling all alone
Today I am tired of my heart breaking
Today I am tired of no one understanding me
Today I am tired of not ever being really loved
Today I am tired of not being accepted for who I am
Today I am tired of never having any time alone
Today I am tired of the voices in my head
Today I am tired of being a better friend to everyone than they are to me
Today I am tired of always giving up on myself
Today I am tired of having fears
Today I am tired of people taking all I have to give and giving nothing back
Today I am tired of you not being there for me
Today I am tired of you not caring how much I need you
Today I am tired of you loosing faith in me
Today I am tired of being used
Today I am tired of being abused
Today I am tired of knowing I could do better
Today I am tired of knowing I am worth more
Today I am tired of feeling hopeless
Today I am tired of feeling helpless
Today I am tired of feeling life offers nothing but despair
Today I am tired of allowing myself to feel these ways
And among all other things
Today I am tired of life and being alive

Thank God for tomorrow and the belief that I CAN handle tomorrow !

Oh yes .... I looked at your lists and yes I have had those days of depair and sorrow , thank goodness we can hopefully have a better tomorrow

I was hoping to see this as your last line

"Starting tomorrow I will change just one thing to be happier."

I think we all have this list unfortunately but we control have to it or it will surely try to control us.

Thank you....I have been feeling them days since my husband left. some days are harder than others. Loved this poem. (((big hug)))
