Within the clasp of His arm
I am safe
I feel the touch of eyelash
On my cheek
As He bends
To hear my whispered prayer
I sense His breath on the wind
And His words
on the sigh of the sea.
I am so small and yet I
Take comfort in the knowledge
That it is for me
He bends the universe
And holds me in the sweep
Of His arm

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

And always we stand,
Exactly in the middle:
That is the wonder of it.

In every direction, look:
You will find his perfection

A beautiful, spiritual poem, Kerthy..
In the oddest places, at the oddest times...
I feel the sweep of that invisible arm..

Keth,
Your lace of words is simplicity itself.

Wow....just wow..... This humbles me, Keth.

It's one thing to be recognized, but quite another to be thanked for a poem with another that picks mine up and carries it so much farther than it could go on its own.

You just made my day, maybe my week.

Bump a poem with my name on it? You betcha!

I have all the humility of a guy who just posted a poem about little white flower petals, when some of his friends are up to their (eaves) in snow.....!
