Far from where I am going

Christmas time, this time of year
surreal faces float within
the seas of longing that are my eyes
please christmas
go ahead and be late
for me
I don't want a hollihoop
no satisfaction can come
from the materialistic sales pitch
of envious pine needles
gift foil cannot disguise
my box of joy
all i want for christmas
is this hole within my soul
to fade with the snow
i want that cold shadow
on my left pillow to warm
all i want for christmas
is the pain
the bane
of my existance
I want love.

(yeah this is kind of cheesy but it's all i've got. Well Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you enjoy)
