The Magic Web
[Ode to Ron C.]

There was a spider, who, lonely, once roamed
through books by great poets, reading their poems
when quite suddenly the spider spied
something of interest before his eye.

A contraption of sorts, a whirring machine
and from its workings, the spider thus gleaned
that this contraption was a miraculous kind
that could bring magic, so did spider unwind

'Twas a web, a labyrinth of magical belief
and with it brought all sorts of unspoken relief
when first one, then two, then quickly by scores
caught in his web some poets and more!

The spider, smiling, nay, greatly grinning,
began an ever larger magic web by spinning
by day and night, then by night and day,
wee hours he called play

and the multitudes they did come,
with wondrous things to say.

Slowly, the magical web spun into miraculous rooms
where poets carefully laid down their tomes
and then would wait, just like the spider at first
to see if there would be a response to a verse.

The spider, he knew, and he wisely kept spinning
when suddenly ‘cross the vortex came digital grinning
for in this magical web spun by Ron, you see
all of Passions’ Poets have a wondrous place to be!

A delightful tale spun - and I join with you in admiration and appreciation of this lovely web woven - and of the spider that labors on our behalf -

Merry Christmas -

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
