Waiting at my doorstep, with a bright red bow, the gift did arrive, Arrived a little slow, finally I did see, what love had brought to me, My eyes were smiling, my heart beating away, my eyes full of tears, After all these years, my gift had came today, I embraced it with all my strength, My love poured out, showering, bathing, falling all around, My feet left the ground, and the snow melted, without one tiny sound, My lips covered it in kisses, my arms covered it with love, the moment was spontaneous, All that I had ever dreamed of, I am so thankful for my gift, for it is the best gift, One I have been waiting for, the complete package, when you showed up, delivered at my door, what more could I ask for? You and Christmas, The gift of you, the love of you, my gift everday, Thank you, thank you, now I must pull the ribbon, and open it..... Merry Christmas!
