Now in the dark cold night as the snow comes down with only the lights on the streets gray and dim nothing assures The frigid wind stings her cheeks as it spreads her hair Why is she running her hands holding closed her coat and its collar through the snow the cold the sad gray air leaving the house of her mother and father swift as a bird to astonished arms http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0 0004UAM0/qid=1103463187/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-5575332-8033722?v=glance&s=music |

I'm in agreement with Margherita. Really enchanted by this piece and would like to hear more about the title. Much enjoyed. Chris |

Margherita/ Chris, Thanks for reading. The title refers to a tune on Chieftains 3: "3. Eibhli Gheal Chiúin Ni Chearbhaill (Bright Quiet Eily O'Carroll) [Air]/", (apparently you can listen to at least part of it on the Amazon site provided). This is one of my favorite ways of knowing whether I’ve accomplished my intention; if after a time I read something like the thing above and spontaneously start humming “Eibhli Gheal Chiúin Ni Chearbhaill”, then I know I’ve been successful. Thanks again. John |
