A little philosophical second love ditty I've been working on. You tell me - I should forget her And I say - I'd like nothing better But there's always history can't change that I'm talking bout the past You know how long forever lasts Before we became one Chorus: There was another you Another love you knew Someone touched you in the night Someone special held you tight And there were hopes and dreams Laughter made from future schemes Long before me & you There was love you thought was true So let the love we share today save both of us from yesterday I could say - I'll never leave you You could say - I'll always be true Well I been round before This time it feels so good I'm sure But I'll say it once more Before we were one Chorus: There was another you Another love you knew Someone touched you in the night Someone special held you tight And there were hopes and dreams Laughter made from future schemes Long before me & you There was love you thought was true So let the love we share today save both of us from yesterday IF YOU HAVE TO JUDGE SOMEONE DO IT ON THE SIDE OF MERCY AND LET TIME SEASON THE RESULTS. |
