Puppies for Sale

Presidential Hopeful, Senator John Kerry
Went jogging one early morn
Like many times in the past.
He met a man selling puppies
And he just had to ask.

What kind of puppies are you selling?
They look so cuddly and so cute,
Tomorrow, I may just want to buy.
They’re Democrat puppies, he said.
Kerry was pleased and said good bye.

The very next day on his run
He brought Teresa along with him.
There’s something I want you to see.
I’ll give my contributors a little pet,
That will guarantee the presidency.

So she looked and asked for herself,
The man said, Republican pups for sale today.
Kerry was stunned and then realized,
That yesterday they were democrats,
But, today they opened they’re eyes.
