As If Heavenly Blessed Once there was a man that begrudged those that celebrated the beauty of their youth. He preferred to live for the future and he took pleasure in knowing that physical beauty was fleeting and the joy of life, in the end, always succumbs to death. How dare the young ones be so bold as to enjoy the days of their youth, the clarity of hearing, the clearness of vision, the strength and the beauty of a youthful physique, without his permission. One day he awoke on a long narrow street in his narrow little world and fifty years of his life had passed since he feel asleep. In that moment he understood that the celebration of his youth had passed him by. Feeling the pain of his loss, he started to cry. Upon his tears, his youth again he possessed. From that day forward he thought not of future pain and duress, and he lived each and every moment as if he were heavenly blessed... JamesLee December15 2004 |
