Night echoes my need of finality to the endless sway of debate and carries my own distinctive tone across the plains of the yes and the no then into the sky of the maybe, don’t know. A season for each and I spin clock-wise from cold in the winter alone to the summer sun heat of desire too quickly for me to assimilate what happened in autumn and spring. Where was I then when barren the trees; did I smile at the shoot of new leaves? Did I believe, foresee, perceive, or sleep through the process of dreams? Last night the air split asunder my cares as lightening sped through the sky trailing the words of do what you must to realize all of your dreams. What can I do but poetically spin through seasons on to the end for all of my dreams lie over the sea beyond the hope of being real. Yes, I will leave, no, I will stay, maybe tomorrow will do, and I don’t know why I bother to pray when my dream spins anti-clockwise. Debate, debate, the ruination of soul, until echoes of hope, need, desire, fade into the air permanently and my own distinctive tone simply one day ceases to be! |

This is excellent! I know I've been lost in that indecision that just eats at the heart, before. And I love the analogies with the seasons. Great poem. Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |

Thank you so much Alyssa, 'M', and Lee, for the read. I guess we all experience the same things from time to time and the amazing thing is that we all survive through them. |
