 Photos By Ethel GG Kent My neighbor recently bought a horse Who stays in a fenced place next to my house He loves for me to talk to him Softly, talking gently, being quiet as a mouse If others are making noise and fuss around He then his distance away keeps Sometimes he makes quite a fuss As he kicks and runs, like leaps  Photo By Ethel GG Kent But when I'm there alone by the fence Whispering to him, holding in my hand green grass His gentleness is beautifully displayed Looking deep in his eyes, I see no sass Every day he seems to trust me more As I stand by the fence to him talking Now when he sees me come outside To me he RUNS to the fence, instead of walking  Photos By Ethel GG Kent |
