The edge of wilderness Becomes option or dark lining Grass root campaigner With fins to swim the oceans Grandchildren taste like heaven Thinking like fawns Pushing the right stones Building forests of sisters Where I once prospered Dark skinned seas Whistle 3 wise men Do I live in a different place? This lodge of dreams…. Where camels walk and doze Grandfather taught me to fish Giving thanks to morning liquorices & moon whiskey I smell the smoke of a campfire Which I taught my son to build Worlds End Painting a house with arms How to hunt for food Hiking fire breaks Exploring laced imagery Speaking balance Sweet grass forces of effortless days Everything that is Wear robes against the cold With the beat of one’s own Remembering metal works we enjoyed Long before we were Where gifts take shape of sun Our neighbors, whom we chose to know My heart walks in circles Concentrating on every breath Revisiting a ballet of sunsets Catching fireflies of afterlife Using me as a vessel Beyond sound Ethereal Constancy |

Memories are so strange... soemtimes so good, and other times painful, confusing, reassuring... I love when new ones are made and you know as you stand and do something "This is a memory!" And then it is. Great write Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |

Grandchildren taste like heaven Thinking like fawns Pushing the right stones Building forests of sisters Where I once prospered ~*~ I believe the constancy, my friend, is that you are still so very rich in all you have been blessed with. |
