I'll gather leaves Of bronze and gold Weave them into Glorious garlands To wind into your hair Restoring color If gray intrudes Upon your day I'll plait sunshine Pull it from the heavens And live without light To drape you in its warmth If cold stone of doubt Settles inside you Weighing you down And chilling your soul I’ll chase the rain And cup refreshment In palm of my hand One drop at a time To moisten your lips I'll be your oasis If your spirit dries To wisp of what should be I'll lift you up And walk beside you Hearing the thoughts Your lips cannot speak And if footsteps falter I will be there Supporting you With power of love You aren’t alone I may be miles away But my heart Is within your grasp Clasp it to you. For even though You are not mine I am yours – always |

Oh well... a moth can dream of having such words of devotion written... and my oh my this is lovely...
