(whilst he warms you)

for faded adolescent whites
writing his name on cotton stitched pages

you are black lace
all o v e r

There is no space for him
where men have lain before

you would wear him smooth

gem over gem
awash in the tides

(though I am tired)

I would wear you out...

And I bathe
over your eyes
tireless of the drag

u n d e r

...I would curve my spine over every wave
to spiral you out

But i forget
