My Time For Remembering

So quickly time had flown
Another year over again
I sat quietly reminiscing
Back down memory lane

My time for remembering
As I end yet another year
Along the paths travelled
All the memories appear

A look back over the past
All that had gone before
Reflecting the memories
Year two thousand a four

Each cherished friendship
I recollected one by one
Of friends sadly departed
The memories will live on

A balance of high and low
As ups and downs blend
All created life's tapestry
From the start to the end

Indeed life does create some of the most beautiful tapestries Hope. This is lovely.
