Broken sentences lay scattered From charred marrow lost when the howl of rage Swept up the life inside Leaving empty rows of stone to mark Where shattered wings are set in mosaic of prose Unable to find an end to the passage Or to fly easily upon the sky With spread wings of hawk who cries Hunger here they lie half finished inside a wasteland denied the breath of rain or feel of snow soft on skin too warmed by driven flames I find too few clouds and too much the pain in rising waves that grace us with salty kisses tinged copper as I bite my own lip to once again taste the way it feels to breathe lust into my eyes yet flakes fell to cover white the scars left from rough gouge of fingers clawing to hold one more time to something lost once and found inside blue flames that fall from lips rushing through words half spoken sighs unwritten in it all lies these glyphs of bones and I am yet to decipher the meaning caught in symbols written behind your eyes |

Oh, how you read my mind, this eve: as I bite my own lip to once again taste the way it feels to breathe lust into my eyes your words always bring me this melancholy comfort, Ron. Makes me remember what I should be grateful for. Thank you. |

Enjoyed the feel of this - and the stir of the words - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

I dont know which is more impressive...the imagery, the personify and symbolism, or the depth of the emote...but I do know the culmination of all is profound poetry. Where shattered wings are set in mosaic of prose Unable to find an end to the passage Or to fly easily upon the sky damn ....IWIHWT moth anthem... |

what I like about poetry is the fact images can be conveyed in a way that goes beyond description---as you did. enjoyed! ATOV~ |
