Beauty resembles a pattern of tears falling from a young girls eyes Staring into the distance The stars are shining tonight A broken heart for a smiling face Holding hands Letting go in the night Everything always leaves A locket left on the ground Chain broken Never to be worn on a neck again But pictures inside tell a tale Of lives lived and spent Love that was at it’s peak Hearts broken then mended Someone is crying Somewhere Can’t you feel a certain heaviness in the air That awful feeling of despair Glance up at the sky tonight See a shooting star Look a lost girl in the eye Beautiful Beauty Resembles the pattern of tears falling From her eyes |

Only if those tears cleanse her. I'd rather take a beating then see a woman cry. But the attitude is right here, bittersweet memories and the symbolic looking upward. An honest write. It took me a handful of years to realize that is more important in this giving of words than anything else in their composure. A bit of blood and tears with the sweat exerted in sculpting them.
