Owen

The flowers
in the meadow...
shimmer
like soft tunes
in a gentle wind.

The clear sky
is pale and cool.

A gallant horse,
unsaddled,
grazes peacefully in the pasture.

How beautiful
the red rust
on the once bright armor...

that lies beside
the Spring green field.

and you, sir, are very good at this.

You leave just the right amount of space between the lines for thought.

I enjoyed this very much.

This poem reminds me of a beautiful place in the Sierra Nevadas called the Owen's Valley.  Lovely!
