On the threshold of November she breathes, filling empty air the fallen life of a silent embrace lost dances that were never there she knows by now they never stay for long perhaps just to stop by for welcome respite and some shelter upon her bough ... ... for now as they grace her with their color or serenade her with a lover's song on the threshold of November she exhales and prepares for the approach of winters still uncertain as the skies to rise with variegated shades from storms that hammer upon her through reprieves in warmer days when winds prevail and whisper kisses soft ... ... for now on the threshold of November she stands and watches as her feet are married to the world below the ground and today she sheds another lover as leaves and songbirds fly on bye ... ... for now [This message has been edited by inkedgoddess (12-02-2004 09:46 PM).] |

Truly a remarkable duet. Lovely, lovely, lovely... Only beautiful souls could write with such grace and beauty ~ and with such and understanding of, and appreciation for, Nature. & EA |

Ladies - thank you for your kind words and praise. Maureen - nice to have touched Wynter's charms once more! Gentlemen - thanks for the read and replies. Working with Ms. Inky has its share of smiles!! "In life's giving ... love is a gift, such worth living." |
