Waiting on Winter to Warm My Soul Improve on nothing, in your living. But I ask: forget me never… And, Know that in my heart my love for you will be forever… As those silent snowflakes you speak of fall, so do my tears, for your forgiveness. And, Know that my heart is yours for you did conquered all… Yet, for now, I have nowhere to hide this zeal for you. It appears in my dreams and in nameless love songs and poems I sing for you… As do whispers faintly falling at the shore in those snowflakes you see just outside your door… Put your hand out catch one and believe it is my heart melting just for you to see my soul’s love for you is deep within me… Each Spring and Summer the rain storms can remind you too… If you will think of me then I will certainly be thinking of you… But, until then, I will be waiting on winter, to once again, be with you. To hold memories close in my heart, memories, which warm me through a cold wintry snow. Memories of winter with you there to console… Waiting on winter, and you, to again warm my soul… |
