This big bright moon is nagging me; I need sleep to free my soul, I know I do not want to remember whatever is slipping through the shadows at the bleeding edge of my recall, demanding I go wallow in all the mess I have lived through; I find my own past boring and I need sleep now most of all, but the cats are jumpy, the wind howls freely, threads of torn wind shredded clouds go ripping through the indigo surrounding this damned happy moon, and my memories feel like a shoe that used to fit before I grew. ©2004 by icebox |

Ditto. Right down to the restless cats, ditto. you...you...you're good you! "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |
