I feel it,
the rise of warmth
and the love I hold inside
wanting out,
for you to feel it too.

Some days I hide it,
when distance becomes timely
and I wish for the "edges of our minds"
to meet.

I think too much, and too often
and when that moon is full
I wonder if you are seeing it as I am
and feeling its pull as I do...

and knowing that I am truly
a romantic
who knows no tomorrow
without today

I look to you for comfort
not out of need, but out of like,
knowing you understand me
without saying a word.

My rhyming skills are off
but even if in "single syllables"...
I am in love

even if only
with words.
