Dusk illuminated a small window Silhouetting a lamp Lighting the way To love and respect Warming a path Of return To a lost one Following a heart’s desire Calling light As a beacon To echo through the darkness Through the torrent Sending a signal To break The quietness Of one who waits Breathing life Fulfilment To spirit his strength To rest in your shadow Matching your feelings And understanding Welcoming the return Of one he lost |
